Nothing much has changed

Since I have been running from the sun

Many nights of rest I've missed

By chasing the moon around the planet

Afraid that the sun will see and

speak the truth about me

So I swim as fast as I can

Upstream through time

Fighting the end of the river

Where I'll realize that the moments I've missed have run

through my fingers like water
